| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept Mastercard, Visa Credit, Debit and Electron, Maestro, Solo, and Commercial Cards including Visa & Mastercard Corporate & JCB. You can, if you prefer, pay by cheque and mail your order to us. Please make cheques payable to 'Doreen Preston and Son' and remember to include all details of your order When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. | Shipping And Handling A fixed postage rate, currently £3.99, is charged for delivery within the UK, irrespective of the size of the order. For EU orders have a fixed postage rate of £12.99. For North America and other Worldwide shipping costs, please contact us by email and we will send you a quote based on the weight and size of the order. |
| Delivery Schedule We strive to deliver your order right away. We will normally despatch your order within 2 business days. Small packets will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Post. Heavy parcels, eg rolled goods will be sent by 48 hour courier. International orders will take longer - we will contact you with an estimated delivery date that you may, at your discretion, accept or decline. |

| Returns Policy You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days after you take delivery of the goods. You may notify us of cancellation by e-mail, fax, or post. Please return the goods unused and in a re-saleable condition and we will refund your money as soon as possible and certainly within 30 days of cancellation. When returning goods we recommend using recorded delivery - if an item being returned to us is lost in transit it is the buyer's responsibility. You will have to pay for postage and packing costs for returned items except for goods that have been delivered incorrectly or are faulty. In the unlikely event of us delivering an incorrect or faulty item we will gladly refund the cost of returning the item and offer you the choice of having your order re-delivered or cancelled. Exceptions: Made to measure items (for instance tablecloths made to the size specifications of the buyer) cannot be returned except on the basis of manufacturing defects.
